❌ Not Accepting New Clients
I am a graduate student intern at Lewis and Clark college pursuing a degree in Marriage, Couple and Family Therapy. Before moving to Oregon, I lived in New York City for 13 years and consider myself a New Yorker at heart. I am a white, cis, currently able-bodied, queer, 2nd gen American from a working class background. I have experience working with folx on the ASD spectrum, adults 65+, and people experiencing severe persistent mental illness. I am interested in working with individuals, couples, and families of all ages, races, genders, and creeds.
Life is a complex web of experiences. Discovering who we are is an adventure we navigate through an ever-changing landscape. How do we make sense of all the chaos? The beauty? How do we cope with injustice in our personal and global spheres? I believe that our lives are shaped by relationships, and that in safe relationships we can heal from our hurts.
I am honored to be your therapist and am curious about what brings you here. Whether that be healing from trauma, going through a life transition, or wanting to hear and trust your inner wisdom, it is all welcome in our sessions. I hope to help you discover how you can live most freely in systems that constrain our humanity. In therapy with me you are invited to feel whatever comes up without shame.
You can expect me to be a supportive, warm, playful, and direct communicator. My perspective is strengths-based, and we might employ mindfulness and/or art therapy interventions, discuss dreams and spirituality, or examine the banalities of everyday life. My hope is that through our work together, you can learn to recognize and transmute patterns that cause suffering in your life.
