Clinical Director
About Connective Therapy Collective

Job Summary: The Clinical Director provides leadership and oversight for clinical quality, ethical compliance, and operational strategy at Connective Therapy Collective. This role balances administrative leadership, clinical supervision, and direct client care while supporting clinician development, program growth, and continuity of care. The Clinical Director collaborates closely with ownership, administrative staff, and clinicians to ensure alignment with CTC’s mission, values, and standards of care.
Key Responsibilities:
Management of Clinical Staff (40% of time distribution)
Administratively supervise the following clinical staff: up to two Clinical Supervisors, one Client Care & Intake Coordinator, and one Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner/Lead.
Hold regular administrative meetings with Clinical Supervisors to support consistency, accountability, and workflow.
Oversee clinician onboarding, hiring, retention, transition, and off-boarding processes.
Review clinical applications and participate in interviews for clinicians and interns.
Attend hiring events and internship fairs as needed to maintain a full and diverse practice.
Oversee clinicians’ use of the EHR to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant documentation.
Review, audit, and provide feedback on clinical documentation and workflows to maintain quality standards.
Collaborate with administrative leadership on scheduling systems, productivity monitoring, insurance requirements, and reporting.
Support insurance and billing compliance in collaboration with administrative staff.
Oversee clinician termination or transfer processes to ensure ethical transitions and continuity of client care.
Direct Clinical Services (25% of time distribution)
Maintain a small caseload of approximately 6–8 clients per week.
Caseload may be adjusted by mutual agreement with ownership based on leadership responsibilities and number of supervisees.
Provide trauma-informed, relational, and evidence-based therapy and supervision aligned with the populations served.
Maintain high standards of ethical care, documentation, and professional practice.
Supervision & Clinical Oversight (20% of time distribution)
Provide clinical leadership, consultation, and supervision to licensed clinicians, associates, and interns.
Clinically supervise approximately 4–6 associates, including individual and group supervision in accordance with licensing and contract requirements.
Facilitate and document clinical consultation and supervision groups at least twice per month.
Provide documentation oversight (approximately 4 hours weekly), including review, feedback, and required sign-off.
Conduct and document quarterly and annual performance reviews in collaboration with ownership.
Monitor clinician development, readiness for advancement, and provide recommendations for professional growth and salary increases.
Monitor client safety, risk management concerns, and appropriate use of assessments and screening tools.
Ensure ethical decision-making and adherence to professional standards in clinical practice.
Leadership Systems (15% of time distribution)
Attend one Directors meeting per week and one administrative leadership meeting per week.
Participate in leadership team meetings and contribute to strategic planning, program growth, and long-term sustainability.
Lead the development, review, and implementation of clinical policies, procedures, and required trainings.
Facilitate and participate in group-level all-staff meetings and trainings.
Ensure organizational compliance with state, federal, and ethical standards, including HIPAA, OHA, Medicaid/Medicare, and professional licensing boards.
Assist with maintaining organizational certifications and approvals, including the OHA Certificate of Approval.
Identify areas for organizational improvement and initiate quality improvement and risk mitigation measures.
Support the implementation of inclusive, trauma-informed, and equity-centered clinical practices across the organization.
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
Active clinical licensure in Oregon (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, Psychologist, or equivalent) and interest in pursuing licensure in other states.
Approved Clinical Supervisor status with the Oregon licensing board or ability to obtain.
Minimum of 7 - 10 years of experience providing mental health services.
At least 2 - 5 years of experience providing clinical supervision and leadership.
Demonstrated experience working with LGBTQIA2S+ clients
Strong knowledge of trauma-informed care, ethics, and the impact of oppression on mental health.
Ability to think systemically, problem-solve, and make sound clinical and organizational decisions.
Proficiency with EHR systems and clinical documentation standards (TherapyNotes or similar preferred).
Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
Compensation
Position Type: Administrative & Clinical
Status: FTE (36 hr/wk)
Salary Range: $90,000 - $100,000 annually DOE
You are able to participate in the group insurance plan which includes Medical, Dental, and Vision options at the completion of 60 days of employment start date.

We aim to promote mental wellness through a holistic approach that respects diverse identities and experiences.
Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in psychiatric care, with a focus on serving queer and transgender populations. You will provide comprehensive assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans while fostering a supportive and affirming environment for all patients.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, including assessments of mental health history, social determinants of health, and cultural factors.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, incorporating pharmacological and psychotherapeutic interventions.
Provide ongoing medication management and monitor patients for efficacy and side effects.
Provide clinical oversight and clinical consultation and supervision as needed for colleagues and clinicians at practice.
Design, create, and execute administrative systems that support the development of a psychiatric mental health services portfolio at practice.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure integrated care and support for patients.
Engage in therapeutic conversations that affirm gender identity and sexual orientation.
Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and resources available.
Stay informed about current best practices and guidelines in queer and transgender healthcare.
Participate in community outreach and engagement activities to promote mental health awareness within the queer and transgender communities.
Qualifications:
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
Experience developing programmatic structures and documentation that support the expansion of Psychiatric Mental Health services
Master’s degree in Nursing with a specialization in Psychiatric Mental Health.
Current NP license in Oregon and board certification in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing.
Experience in psychiatric care, preferably with queer and transgender individuals.
Strong understanding of LGBTQ+ mental health issues, including trauma-informed care principles.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to patient-centered care.
Passion for advocacy and social justice in mental health.
Compensation
The position is a W2 status hourly employee rate of $120-$150 for work completed. Work areas include clinical sessions, supervisory services, and administrative and program development. While this role is compensated hourly, this employee can expect a workload of around 20 - 36 hours per week. You will be classified as exempt under the federal and Oregon’s Fair Labor Standards Act which means you will not receive overtime pay. However, there may be additional pay provided for special activities and projects, or bonuses when applicable.

Mental Health Provider Job Summary

Our Mental Health Therapist provides specialized outpatient mental health and sex therapy treatment for adults, couples, and groups of diverse identities, expressions and backgrounds. Overall responsibilities include the following:
Maintaining the appropriate caseload for your employment type (ex. Full time expectation is 26 clients per week)
Maintaining clinical documentation to the standards of OBLPCT and OHA
Attending required all staff meetings and trainings
Commitment to social justice work and Antiracist work with the other members of CTC
Ability to co-facilitate or facilitate group therapy and psychoed groups
Qualifications:
Master's level degree in psychology, social work, counseling or related field.
Licensed by the Oregon Board of Licensed Professional Therapists, Social Workers or Psychologists.
QMHP without OBLPCT relationship must be certified by MHACBO. Or able to meet QMHP requirements under State of Oregon MHDD Division's Administrative rules.
Experience providing care to at least one marginalized community (race/ethnicity, TG/NB, disability, immigration status, multi-language speakers, developmental disability, etc). Must have seen over 4 different individuals/families.
Training in sex therapy/ beginning of the sex therapy certification process through AASECT
Ability to work independently while also engaging in building strong, interconnected team culture.
Strong computer skills and ability to document activities in an Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
Ability to pass a background check.
Fluent in English language: speaking, reading and writing. Highly preferred second language fluency: reading, writing, and speaking in therapeutic context.
Base Salary Offerings (subject to change depending on Experience/Certifications)

Graduate Internship

Role Description
As a Graduate Intern you will work the jointly agreed upon schedule of 10-14 scheduled weekly sessions. Our providers deliver specialized outpatient mental health, treatment for adults, couples, and groups of diverse identities, expressions and backgrounds. In order to ensure that our services are above standard for our clients, we prioritize supporting Interns in becoming proficient in the skills below:
Individual, couples and/or family therapy, as is expected by your program
Mental health assessments, treatment planning, and weekly service provision
Advocacy and support in cases of gender affirmation
Family support, communication, and education
Group facilitation
Advocacy with larger systems and community engagement
Referrals to and coordination with other qualified providers
Maintaining clinical records for each client
Support with client outreach and marketing as needed
Ensuring documentation meets all compliance standards set forth in the organization policy and insurance contracts
Participate in meetings, supervision and trainings as requested by the supervisor or manager
Requirements & Stipend:
Pass a background check at time of onboarding.
Maintain 2 “office days” (typically 2 in office, the rest virtual) for an average of 10-14 scheduled sessions per week, with a total of 15-18 hours a week as outlined in your school graduate externship contract.
Attend weekly administrative and training sessions
Attend weekly individual supervision meetings on an agreed upon schedule, and at least 1 group supervision meeting per month or as required by your educational program. These are part of training provided by CTC.
Complete any assigned readings and trainings in a reasonable timely manner as agreed upon by you and your supervisor.
Student Intern Stipend: In order to support the development and security of our student interns we offer a financial stipend of $1,500 per CTC fiscal quarter (not academic quarter).
