Land Acknowledgement

Connective Therapy Collective is currently located in the Portland area which rests on traditional village sites of the Multnomah, Wasco, Cowlitz, Kathlamet, Clackamas, Bands of Chinook, Tualatin, Kalapuya, Molalla, and many other tribes who made their homes along the Columbia River creating communities and encampments.

In acknowledgement of those forcibly removed from the land, separated from their communities, hurt and killed, and oppressed by colonizing forces, we serve those that are marginalized, oppressed, exploited by white supremacist systems, and commit to critically examining hegemonic clinical practices that further perpetuate harm.

It is with reverence for those that cared for this land, created community, and nurtured life here before us, that we mindfully engage in environmentally conscious community stewardship and care for our colleagues, neighbors, and all we serve.
