  • Healing Intersections

Healing Intersections believes that there is exponential healing potential in our bodies and hearts, only made stronger by outside reflection. They honor that your healing cannot exist separate from the identities you hold, but must be informed by and anchored in the complexity and beauty of all the parts of you.

  • Niko Tiare (she/they)

    Peer Support Specialist

"Finding a counselor that matches your identities and politics can be traumatizing as QTBIPOC. To be courageous enough to seek help  only to be met with someone who hasn't done the work to unlearn their ideas around heteronormativity and internalized whiteness can be painful. As a peer counselor, my priority is creating a space where you feel affirmed, seen, and respected. I work from a trauma informed lens that de-centers the DSM and celebrates neurodiversity. I am queer, trans, kink, and polyam affirming. I believe in developing respectful counselor-client relationships that foster growth and healing."
