Graduate Level Clinical Mental Health Intern

Attachment
Patterns, Identity Development, and Major Life Transitions

I show up to this work as a white, transmasculine, queer, and neurodivergent person, and those parts of me shape how I connect with clients. I think a lot about how identity and larger systems impact our lives, but in the therapy space, my focus is on creating an environment where you can be yourself without needing to explain or shrink parts of who you are. I aim to show up as real, collaborative, and grounded, with an emphasis on building trust and a relationship that feels supportive and genuinely human.

I’m currently a graduate student in Oregon State University’s Clinical Mental Health Counseling program and am completing my internship at Connective Therapy Collective. Before this, I worked as a case manager with youth and young adults experiencing housing instability, which shaped my approach to be trauma-informed, strengths-based, and grounded in real-world contexts. I’m especially interested in supporting clients navigating complex trauma, attachment patterns, identity development, and major life transitions.

My approach draws from Narrative and Gestalt therapies, with a strong relational focus. I’m especially interested in how early relationships and lived experiences shape the ways we connect with others and understand ourselves. I often incorporate experiential and creative ways of working to help explore emotions, relationship patterns, and sense of self, while staying

grounded in the present moment.

In our work together, I aim to create a space that feels supportive while also offering gentle challenge—somewhere you can better understand your patterns, build more secure and meaningful relationships, and reconnect with what matters to you. I see clients as the experts in their own lives, and my role is to walk alongside you with curiosity, care, and respect.
