Morgan

Hey there, I’m Morgan. I come to this work as a white, queer, non-monogamous, neurodivergent, nonbinary/trans person. These identities influence the way I show up in my work as a counselor. I spend a lot of time examining how identity and social systems impact the way we show up in the world and how they affect our mental health. My intention is to show up authentic, thoughtful and curious with emphasis on trust and relationship building. 

My approach is holistic and person-centered, the therapeutic space we build is for you and your healing. Together, we will work to create an environment in which you feel supported and heard. My passion is to help individuals and couples navigate relational attachment. In this, we can explore how you make sense of your relation to self and others. I use a collaborative approach, drawing on tools from Feminist Therapy, Emotionally-Focused Therapy and Family System Models to help enhance communication skills, identify tools to create positive impacts and understand our own relationships. 

I am passionate about working with LGBTQIA+, sex workers, survivors, and approach my practice with an intersectional lens with knowledge of non-traditional relationships, body neutrality, harm reduction, racial justice, all through an anti-capitalist lens. I actively try to work to decolonize my practice and create an accessible space. I am always down to have conversations about accessibility and be in collaboration, so counseling can be more accessible to you! Please reach out if you have any questions regarding this.
